25th ordinary meeting of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas.

The Kingdom of Morocco hosts, from 14 to 22 November 2014 in Marrakech, the 25th ordinary meeting of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas. Ms Mbarka Bouaida, State Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development ,Waters and Forests, in charge of Maritime Fisheries presided over the opening session.

An important Moroccan delegation, chaired by Mrs. Zakia Driouich, General Secretary of Fisheries, takes part in the work of this international event. INRH is represented at this meeting by, Dr. Abdelmalek Faraj , the Director, Mr. Mohamed Malouli, Head of the Fisheries Department and Mr. Noureddine Abid, researcher at INRH Tangiers Regional Center. The main purpose of the meeting is to review draft recommendations of management and resolutions for the conservation and preservation of tunas.
